2. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to user accounts, registrations for the Conference (including accompanying persons) and hotel accommodation booked through the Website. They form one agreement together with the Distance Sales Agreement, the Cancellation & Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy & KVKK Notice. By creating an account or paying for a registration you accept these documents.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate, complete and current information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- One account may register several participants (usually up to five), and accompanying persons can be added from the account of the participant they accompany. The account holder confirms that they are authorised to provide the data of the persons they register and that they have informed them of the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or close accounts that contain false information or are used in breach of these Terms.
4. Registration categories and fees
- Fees depend on the participant status (e.g. Director, Deputy Director, Delegate, IFATCA Official, Observer, Industry Partner, Accompanying Person), on the IFATCA subscription category of the Member Association concerned, and on the booking period (Early Bird until 1 December 2026, then Regular and On-site rates).
- All fees are shown in EUR on the Website before payment. The fee that applies is the one shown in the order summary at the moment of payment.
- Certain categories (for example IFATCA Officials) must be verified by the Organising Committee before payment is enabled. Only one Director may be registered per Member Association.
- The Organising Committee may verify any participant status and may re-classify, or after informing the participant cancel, a registration that does not meet the criteria of the selected category. Any difference in fees will be charged or refunded accordingly.
- The services included in each category are described on the Registration page.
5. Payment
- Payments are made by credit or debit card on a secure payment page protected by 3-D Secure, operated by our licensed payment institution and bank. Card details are transmitted directly to them over an encrypted connection and are never stored by the Organiser.
- Cards are charged in EUR as a single payment; instalments are not offered. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees.
- A registration is confirmed only when the payment has been approved. You will receive a confirmation e-mail, and your confirmation and e-ticket are always available in your account.
- Each participant is paid for separately. Discount coupons are applied as shown in the order summary and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Invoices are issued by Harikalar Kumpanyası Organizasyon. For a receipt or invoice, please write to ifatca66@tatca.org.
6. Accommodation
Rooms at the partner hotels next to the venue are offered subject to availability and are paid in advance together with the registration. Prices are per room per night and include breakfast unless stated otherwise. Check-in and check-out are governed by the rules of the hotel, which remains responsible for its own services.
7. Cancellation, refunds and substitutions
Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy. In summary: a registration can be cancelled with a full refund until 1 January 2027; after that date fees are not refundable, but the participant may be replaced by another person of the same category free of charge.
8. Visas and travel
Participants are responsible for their own passport, visa, travel and health or travel insurance. On request, registered participants can obtain a visa invitation letter from their account. The letter does not guarantee that a visa will be issued. Participants whose visa is refused should contact us promptly with the refusal document; such cases are handled under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
9. Changes to the Conference
The Organiser may change the programme, speakers, rooms or timings where necessary. If the Conference has to be cancelled or postponed, participants will be offered a full refund of the fees they have paid (or, for a postponement, the option to keep their registration). Except where the law provides otherwise, the Organiser is not liable for travel, visa or other costs incurred by participants, or for failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, government restrictions or airspace closures.
10. Conduct, safety and admission
Participants must wear their badge at all times at the venue and follow the instructions of the Organising Committee, the venue and security staff. Badges are personal and may not be transferred without a registered substitution. The Organiser may refuse admission to, or remove from the venue, anyone whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory or harassing, without a refund.
11. Photography and recording
Photographs and video will be taken during the Conference and may be published on the Website, in IFATCA and TATCA publications and on their social-media channels. If you do not wish to appear in published images, please let the Organising Committee know at the registration desk or by e-mail.
12. Liability
Participants attend at their own risk and are advised to take out appropriate travel and health insurance. The Organiser is not liable for loss of, or damage to, personal belongings, or for indirect damages, except where caused by its intent or gross negligence or where mandatory law provides otherwise. Our total liability towards a participant is limited to the fees that participant has paid.
13. Intellectual property
The content of the Website — texts, logos, photographs, videos and design — is protected by copyright and may not be copied or used for commercial purposes without permission. Photo credits are listed on the Gallery page.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court competent for their place of residence or for the place where the purchase was made, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade. Otherwise the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version published on the Website at the time of your payment applies to that payment.
