
Distance Sales Agreement

Article 1 — Parties

Organiser of the Conference: Türkiye Hava Trafik Kontrolörleri Derneği (TATCA). Harikalar Kumpanyası Organizasyon (the “Seller”), the conference organisation agency appointed by the Organiser, sells registrations and accommodation and collects all payments on the Organiser’s behalf; the Seller’s name is the one shown on your card statement.
Buyer: the natural or legal person who places the order on ifatca2027.com, with the name, e-mail address, telephone number and address entered in their account and in the order.
Article 2 — Subject
This agreement sets out the rights and obligations of the parties, under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, for the sale through the Website of registration to the IFATCA 66th Annual Conference held on 12–16 April 2027 at WOW Convention Center, Yeşilköy Mah., Atatürk Cad. No: 15-17-19, 34149 Bakırköy, Istanbul and, where selected, hotel accommodation (together the “Service”).
Article 3 — The Service, price and payment
- Service: registration to the Conference in the participant category selected by the Buyer, and, where selected, hotel accommodation for the dates chosen. The main features of the Service are described on the Website and in the order summary.
- Price: the total price including all taxes is shown in EUR in the order summary before payment and in the confirmation e-mail. No delivery charge applies.
- Payment: by credit or debit card, as a single payment, on a secure 3-D Secure payment page of the Seller’s licensed payment institution. Card details are not stored by the Seller.
- Performance: the registration confirmation and e-ticket are delivered electronically to the Buyer’s e-mail address and account immediately after the payment is approved. The Service is performed on the Conference dates at the venue; hotel services are provided by the hotel on the booked dates. There is no physical delivery.
Article 4 — Preliminary information
The Buyer confirms that, before placing the order, they were informed on the Website of the Seller’s identity and contact details, the main features of the Service, the total price including taxes, the payment and performance conditions, the cancellation and refund conditions and the exception to the right of withdrawal, and the means of complaint and dispute resolution, and that they accept this information electronically.
Article 5 — Right of withdrawal and cancellation
Under Article 15(1)(g) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for accommodation and for leisure or event services that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period. The Service falls within this exception.
Notwithstanding this, the Seller grants the Buyer the voluntary cancellation rights described in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, including a full refund for cancellations received until 1 January 2027. Approved refunds are made to the card used for the payment within 14 days.
Article 6 — Obligations of the parties
- The Seller provides the Service as described on the Website and in the order, and informs the Buyer in good time of any material change.
- The Buyer provides accurate information, complies with the conditions of the selected participant category and with the Terms & Conditions, and is responsible for their own travel, visa and insurance.
- If the payment is not approved by the bank, or is later reversed by the card issuer, no contract is formed or the contract ends, and the Seller is not obliged to provide the Service.
Article 7 — Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes, government decisions or airspace closures. If the Conference is cancelled for such reasons, the fees paid are refunded in full.
Article 8 — Complaints and disputes
Complaints can be sent to ifatca66@tatca.org. The Buyer may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court of their place of residence or of the place where the purchase was made, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade.
Article 9 — Entry into force
This agreement is concluded electronically when the Buyer ticks the confirmation box on the payment page and the payment is approved. The text remains available on the Website and in the Buyer’s account, and the Seller keeps a record of the acceptance.
