Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
1. How to cancel
Sign in to your account, open the registration and choose Request cancellation, or write to ifatca66@tatca.org with the registration number. Cancellations are effective from the date we receive the request, and we confirm every decision by e-mail.
2. Cancellations until 1 January 2027
Registrations and hotel bookings cancelled until 1 January 2027 (inclusive, Istanbul time) are refunded in full.
3. Cancellations after 1 January 2027
- After this date, registration fees and hotel charges are not refundable, because rooms and services have been guaranteed to our suppliers.
- Instead of cancelling, you may transfer your registration to another person of the same participant category free of charge. Please send us the new participant’s details before the Conference.
- In exceptional, documented cases (for example a visa refusal or serious illness) the Organising Committee may decide, at its discretion, to grant a full or partial refund.
- No refund is made for non-attendance or for days not attended.
4. Hotel only
A hotel booking can be cancelled on its own, keeping the Conference registration, under the same conditions.
5. Cancellation or postponement by the Organiser
If the Conference is cancelled, all fees paid are refunded in full. If it is postponed, you can keep your registration for the new dates or request a full refund.
6. How refunds are paid
- Refunds are made only to the card used for the payment, in EUR, for the amount actually paid (after any discount).
- We start the refund within 14 days of approving the cancellation. Depending on the card-issuing bank, it usually appears on your statement within 2–10 business days.
- Currency-conversion differences or charges applied by your own bank are outside our control.
7. Legal note
Under Article 15(1)(g) of the Turkish Regulation on Distance Contracts, services that must be performed on a specific date, such as event registration and accommodation, are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal. The conditions above are a voluntary commitment by the Organiser and are part of the Distance Sales Agreement.
